To have the best experience with facial oils (even for oily skin) without making the skin greasy, the best recipe is mixing it with water-based products like toner/elixir/mist.

 

If you look at the ingredient lists of most creams or lotions, the top ingredient is always “water, " which makes their textures light. Hence, better results! The same idea applies when we mix ourselves, only better as water is replaced by (say) rose mist which contains much higher nutritional values for our skin.
