To have the best experience with facial oils (even for oily skin) without making the skin greasy, the best recipe is mixing it with water-based products like toner/elixir/mist.

If you look at the ingredient lists of most creams or lotions, the top ingredient is always “water, " which makes their textures light. Hence, better results! The same idea applies when we mix ourselves, only better as water is replaced by (say) rose mist which contains much higher nutritional values for our skin.

The application of face oil is wide. We encourage you to play with it. You can use it directly, mix it with mist, or add a few drops to face cream to improve its moisturising effect. Try them out and adjust the recipe/ratio as you want. Enjoy the skin benefits and find yourself the best experience!

For instance, the best partners for BAO’s Restorative Face Oil must be the Hydrating Rose Mist and Recovery Face Cream. Dispense 3-6 drops of oil to the palm with a few sprays of the rose mist, rub between your hands and then apply to the face. This is one of our favourite mixes. How about yours?

Happy Skin Happy Life!
